Google Chrome is a browser that is used all over the world. And now, Google Chrome has updated the latest feature, which is sharing web pages via QR-Codes. This feature enables the users to share a web page’s link to someone through QR-Code on Android and Desktop. By using this sharing method, you can be able to view a web page without searching for it. For activating this latest update on your Chrome, you just need to enable some flags on your Chrome for both Android and Desktop. And let’s crack the latest update of Google Chrome.

This is an amazing feature and by using this, you can share a web page with someone via QR-Code, and also you can download this QR-Code. After downloading the QR-Code, you can share those QR-Codes with your friends and others via Mails or Drives. For activating this feature on your Chrome, you just need to enable a few flags in it. Below, I’ve mentioned those flags separately for both Android and Desktop.

Android:

For Android devices, there’s a couple of flags that you need to enable to activate this amazing feature. Just copy the link and paste on your Chrome’s URL box and search for it. A tab opens, then enable the options which were highlighted.

When you enabled the option, Google asks you to Relaunch your Browser, so by relaunching the Chrome, this feature activates on your Chrome. After doing all these processes, you’ll get this Sharing update on your Chrome browser. And now, when you see a web page’s URL box, there a QR-Code option will be available. By clicking that QR-Code, you can Scan, and also you can download it. You can share the downloaded QR-Codes via Mails or Drives too.

Desktop:

Like Android, if want to start this feature in your Desktop, you just need to enable a flag on your Chrome browser. Below I’ve mentioned a link for enabling flag. Once you enabled the highlighted flag on your Chrome, Google asks you to Relaunch your browser, so that you can get started with this new feature. You can be able to download the QR-Code as an image file.

When you’re on a web page, right-click on that page, there an option named “Create a QR code for this page” will be available. By clicking that option, you can be able to share the Web page via QR-Code on your Android and Desktop. Or, this sharing option will be available directly on the URL box itself.

This Sharing feature is not yet available on the iOS Platform. We are eagerly waiting for this feature on the iOS Platform. Also, we could see this feature would be available soon for iOS operating systems. Many of you may use these codes on your iOS devices due to out of curiosity, but it won’t work on this iOS operating system. We would update this article when this feature is launched on iOS.
